Where does the water we use come from?

Our drinking water is obtained from North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) in Wylie, Texas. The surface water supply is withdrawn from Lake Lavon via pumping stations and piped into one of three water treatment plants located in Wylie, Texas. After treatment, the treated water supply is pumped to the City of Forney for distribution.
