Can't Keep Your Pet?

Please rehome your pet responsibly. Before you contact our shelter, we strongly encourage pet owners to try rescue groups for rehoming. A web search engine can assist with finding local animal rescue groups. If your animal has a specific breed, then try to search for rescues involving that particular breed. This is beneficial to your pet because they will be placed in a foster home with a caring individual or family that can provide the love and attention they need until they can be adopted.

Online resources such as Adopt-a-Pet.com are a great way to network with pets. The Adopt-a-Pet site has created a simple, reliable, free program to help you place your pet from your loving home directly to another.

When you contact a shelter or rescue, please include the following information: Name, Address, Phone #, Email, Pets Name, Age of Pet, Photo of pet ( multiple photos are better), and Current vaccinations.?(yes) or (No), Spayed or neutered? (yes) or( No), Housebroken?, Inside or outside dog?, Good with dogs and or cats? Is pet safe and playful with Children? What reason for surrender?
