The Independence Day Celebration will be held on July 4, 2020 from 4pm to 10pm. at Forney Community Park! With increasing concerns, please be mindful that this is an outdoor event and that social distancing will be encouraged. In response to Governor Abbott’s latest order, face coverings are highly encouraged for attendees in case 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained from those outside of your household.
This FREE event include food trucks, live entertainment and FIREWORKS!
Once the concert has completed, the fireworks show will begin at 9:30 from the north side of the Community Park at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Come hungry, because there will be plenty of vendors providing several types of cuisine! There will be multiple food vendors offering a variety of options by the amphitheater.
For the first time in event history, alcohol will be available for purchase! Alcohol will be sold inside of the Spellman Amphitheater (4pm-9pm) and must be enjoyed inside of the Amphitheater. Absolutely no drinks will be allowed in or out of the Amphitheater. No outside alcohol will be allowed in the park.
We are excited to have two amazing, local bands that are sure to deliver great music and a good time. Both bands will be performing at the Spellman Amphitheater.
