Warrants & Renewing Your Driver's License

If you have outstanding citations or warrants in the Forney Municipal Court of Record No. 1, you may be denied the renewal of your driver’s license. Not sure if you have outstanding warrants? Additional Fee

If you had any outstanding warrants or citations reported to OmniBase Texas, you will be required to pay a fee of $30 fee per case if submitted to omni base prior to January 1 2020.  $10 per case if your case(s) were sent to omni base after January 1 2020 in addition to your fine and costs in full in order to have your driver’s license released.

The Forney Municipal Court of Record No. 1 has contracted with OmniBase Texas and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Failure to Appear / Failure to Pay Program. If you have received a letter concerning your driver’s license or you can not renew your Texas driver’s license you may contact the DPS at 512-424-2600 or contact the court at 972-564-7311.

Indigency Application

If you are not able to pay for your warrants and feel that you may be indigent then we will set you for a hearing before the Judge. You must complete the Indigency application and bring it with you to this hearing.
