Minimum Age Requirement: To work for the City, individuals must be at least 18 years old if the position involves the use of hazardous equipment or chemicals. During the summer months, a limited number of positions may be available with a minimum age requirement of 16.
For all job positions, the City mandates pre-employment drug/alcohol testing and a criminal background/records check. Specific positions may also require a pre-employment physical examination.
