The Splash Pad at Forney Community Park is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.  The Splash Pad is on daily from 10am to 8pm.

The City of Forney’s park system includes 242 acres of parkland and four different types of parks. The existing park system includes mini-parks, neighborhood parks, community parks and undeveloped parkland. The majority of the City’s parkland (84%) is provided at one site, Forney Community Park. There are two other sites of substantial size, Mulberry Park (33-acre site) and undeveloped dedicated park land near Gateway Boulevard. Additional parks are distributed around the City, of which four sites are small mini-parks with limited recreation amenities.

We would encourage those who would like more information about the Parks and Recreation system to read the 2014 Parks, Recreation & Open Space Master Plan Update
