A Message from the Chief
On behalf of the men and women of the Forney Police Department, welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in our department. In partnership with our community, the Forney Police Department strives for excellence in police service through integrity, servant leadership, high ethical standards, and the respectful treatment of all. To accomplish this Mission, we have four Performance Measures that we critically evaluate on a continual basis:
- Excellence in Police Service. This variable measures that quality of service we deliver both externally and internally.
- Responsiveness. This variable measures the efficiency of our work.
- Crime Rate. This variable is measured by the Uniform Crime Report and other measures of crime.
- Traffic Safety. This variable is measured through traffic crash statistics and the Department’s responses to traffic problems in the City.
I am honored and humbled to have the privilege of serving as your Chief of Police. The talented professionals of the Forney Police Department and I work daily to build further our community-oriented policing focus and facilitate a safe environment that supports quality growth and family values.
My wife and I are excited to call Forney our home. I am grateful for the confidence and trust bestowed in me by City Management, and I appreciate the very warm welcome I have received from the Forney community. I invite you to become involved and connect with the Forney Police Department as we work together with you to police our community. We will achieve our greatest effectiveness through strong partnerships with individual citizens and stakeholders in Forney.
