The holding period for a domestic animal is 72 hours.
The redemption fee for a lost pet is as follows:

1st Occurrence | $30 | $10 |
2nd Occurrence | $50 | $10 |
3rd Occurrence | $75 | $10 |
4th Occurrence | $100 | $10 |
Large or Dangerous Animals (For Every Occurrence) | $100 | $20 |
In some cases if proof of current rabies vaccination can not be furnished at the time of redemption or the rabies vaccination has just recently expired, you may be given 5 days to furnish proof of current rabies vaccination to Animal Control. Failure to do so may result in a citation being issued.
