1. Are park fees required for reservations?

Mulberry Park Ballfield lights are $20 for residents and $25 for nonresidents for 1 1/2 hours. Bell Park is $20 for residents and $25 for nonresidents. The Forney Community Park Pavilion requires a $50 deposit along with a $50 reservation fee for residents and a $100 reservation fee for nonresidents.

2. Are park reservations needed?

Bell Park can be reserved for weddings and special events. Mulberry Park Ball Fields can be reserved for practices and games. The Forney Community Park Pavilion may be reserved for birthday parties, reunions or other small private parties. Otherwise it’s first come, first serve.

Forney does not have a community center at this time.

Forney does not have a community swimming pool at this time.

5. Does Forney have a master plan for their park system?

Yes! Our master plan was adopted in 2005 and was updated in 2014. Parks & Recreation Master Plan

6. How do I schedule a team practice at one of the park athletic fields?

7. What are the park hours and splash pad hours?

Park hours are 6 a.m. - 11 p.m. Splash pad is open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily.
