As a city council member, my key goals are centered on fostering transparency, promoting smart growth, and ensuring unwavering support for public safety in our community. By prioritizing transparency, smart growth, and public safety, we can create a city that thrives, where residents are actively engaged in decision-making, sustainable development is the norm, and everyone feels safe and secure in their homes and neighborhoods. Together, we can build a stronger and more resilient community for the future.
I’m a native Texan who has lived in Forney for over 15 years. I originally chose to run for city council because I love Forney and want to help it be the very best it can be—not just for today but for decades to come. My professional background is in education. I received my Bachelor of Science in Special Education with an emphasis in severe disabilities. My husband Richard and I have been married for over 18 years and have four children.
