The city’s engineering department has published an RFQ for engineering services for the roadway bond projects. During the November 2022 election, Forney voters approved Proposition E ($52.7 Million)  for roads and infrastructure upgrades. These projects encompass the expansion of Lovers Lane, the connection between FM 548 and Monitor Boulevard, an extension for Community Park Road, and a study for a potential grade separation over the train tracks.
