ARPA Grant
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 distributed State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) to state, local, and tribal governments across the country to support their response to and recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency. The City of Forney will use a portion of its $6.7 million SLFRF award to fund both the Forney Small Business and Nonprofit Grant Program and the Forney Household Grant Program.
The Forney Small Business and Nonprofit Grant Program will distribute up to $1,500 one-time grants to eligible small businesses and nonprofits which have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency. The Forney Household Grant Program will distribute up to $500 one-time grants to eligible households which have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency. This program is only for businesses, non-profits, and residents within Forney City Limits. For more information about both programs, click on the links below:

These are two different programs with different eligibility rules and requirements but both grant programs are funded by SLFRF from the American Rescue Plan Act. Applications and information about both programs can be found below:

Please note that neighborhoods such as Devonshire, Travis Ranch, and Windmill Farms are not within Forney City Limits and will not be eligible for this program.
Note: Eligible Applicants are not guaranteed the full amount as it may be reduced due to the amount of applications.
